Flyers ink two goalies for 2014-15 season

The Alpena Flyers signed their first two players for the upcoming season after a two-day pre-draft tryout camp over the weekend. The Flyers signed 16-year-old Everett Calendine (left) from Bradenton, Fla. Calendine is a goalie and played for the Detroit Falcons last season. In addition to playing hockey for the Flyers, he will be attending Alpena High School as a junior in the fall. The Flyers also signed former Alpena High goaltender Bret LeTourneau (right), 19. LeTourneau will attend Alpena Community College in the fall and last played for the Wildcats in 2012-13. He finished his senior season with a 10-3-1 record, a 2.91 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.
