Warning would have had same effect as ticket
My grandson got a speeding ticket from Officer D. Hall, State Police, near Curtis Rd. (Glennie) on the Fourth of July. Shame on him for “speeding” 60 mph in a 55 mph zone. Think maybe he was anxious to get to his grandparents house in Hubbard Lake to join a family picnic. Officer Hall asked only for his drivers license and found no prior tickets. Officer Hall did not reduce the speed on the ticket because my grandson had his cruise control set at 60 mph. It was a beautiful afternoon and very little traffic. My grandson is in college and engaged in military training to serve our country.
I doubt he was disrespectful in any way. Officer Hall, do you think maybe a warning could have served the same purpose?
