Kennedy will represent NE Michigan well

If you are frustrated with political polarization and gridlock in Lansing I would hope you would consider voting for Robert Kennedy in the Aug. 5 primary.

I have known Bob since we took the Greyhound bus to Tiger Stadium in the mid-1960s. He has deep roots in Northeast Michigan having been born in Lincoln and working in his parents IGA in Oscoda.

He is a man of integrity and uncompromising principles. He is not running for office because of ego, or as a stepping stone or because of a specific agenda.

Bob was an innovative and dedicated teacher in the Oscoda school system for 38 years. His students can testify to the positive influence Mr. Kennedy had on their lives.

Unlike his opponents Bob is not accepting any campaign money from corporations or PACs so he will not be beholding to any special interests or even members of his own party.

For those who remember Bob’s accomplishments on the football field or basketball court they know that no one will work harder to represent the people of his district.

Bob will be an advocate for women’s rights as well as Second Amendment rights. He served his country in the National Guard for six years and simply wants to “roll up his sleeves and get to work.” Accountability and accessibility will truly be a hallmark of a Kennedy administration
