Man arrested following motorcycle accident
An Alpena man is in custody after crashing his motorcycle while driving on the sidewalk on Second Avenue Bridge Sunday, according to police.
Police were dispatched to the bridge at 5:49 p.m., and arrived to find the 44-year-old man had been driving his motorcycle on Second Avenue northeast from Water Street, according to an Alpena Police Department release. He left the road and tried crossing the bridge on the sidewalk when he lost control and crashed.
