Ruth Irene Fredrick was born in Detroit Mich., March 14, 1923, to Lydia and Albert Fredrick and passed on April 11, 2014.

She had lived a long life of 91 years of age and spent her early years in Alpena and then moved to Detroit where she and Herman Meyers started their family of three girls and a boy. They married in September 1940 and it will be five years in October that Herman passed away.

This is something I wrote for her upon her death.

Because of them, Because of her. Ruth Irene Fredrick who married Herman Meyers gave birth to four children, Marilyn, Cheryl, Dian and Frederick. Because of them, because of her they have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Starting with Todd then Kari and Kimberly then Kurt and Chandler, Jason then Lauren and Chase. Then the next generation starting with Claire and Aaron then Jeremy and Cali and soon Loren and Lariel, Madison, Mackenzie, Jaxn, Chloe and Jack. And the newest additions of Crash Patrick and the newest arrival this Spring with baby Halen. Because of them, because of her we have this remarkable group of individuals who make up our family. She had an impact on us that will continue on for the generations to come. God bless her soul and may she rest in peace. Frederick Meyers
