Community better place because of Hoppe

Marsha Hoppe has been a blessing to our community as she shared her gifts of faith and service over many years as the Senior High Youth Minister for the Alpena Catholic Community. We, along with many parents, are grateful for her unconditional love and service to our children and che community of Alpena. She taught our children through their faith formation and by her example. In her humility and passion to live the Gospel she was led to serve the homeless in our community by organizing the Homeless Sleepouts for years and to organize many service trips to the soup kitchen in Detroit and disaster relief in other states. Looking at the young adults around us we see many who were influenced by her faith, dedication to goodness and service. They now choose to continue to live their faith in serving our community with compassion in their jobs and through volunteerism. Our community is a much better place because Marsha was called to serve and she selflessly responded … “Yes.”
