Length of millage doesn’t make any sense
I certainly appreciate the financial needs of the sharing district schools for the 2012-2013 school year. Why are we asking for three mills for 10 years? Who has the foresight in the Intermediate School District of the Superintendents from the sharing districts, that this is the need for 10 years? And what do they have in mind if this economy turns around? Maybe huge innuites, vehicles for administrators, or other ways to spend taxpayers hard earned money. Let’s get realistic and ask for three mills for two years and a possible renewal if necessary.
