Christina Farrier and Thomas Wilson exchanged their wedding vows July 14, 2012 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Alpena. Rev. Bruce Michaud officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Melford and Lynn Farrier of Alpena. The groom is the son of Harold and Sue Wilson of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Ashley Werth. Bridesmaids were Melanie Aikens and Melissa Farrier, sisters of the bride; Tracy Romel, sister of the groom; Kim Cohoon, friend of the bride; and Cailey Aikens, niece of the bride. Serving as junior bridesmaid was Abby Aikens, niece of the bride. Serving as flower girl was Kiersten Wirgau, niece of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Noah Schellie. Groomsmen were Jeremy Romel, brother-in-law of the groom; Boone Tanner, cousin of the groom; and Craig Latz, Jonathan Stepanski, and Al Couture, friends of the groom. Serving as ring bearer was Payton Aikens, nephew of the bride. Ushers included Matt Kelly and Jimmy LaBarge.

Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the APlex. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at the Alpena Golf Course.

Christina is a 2002 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of Grand Valley State University. She is employed by Hillman Community Schools. Thomas is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2008 graduate of Alpena Community College. He is employed by Lafarge Corporation.

The couple will be traveling to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for their honeymoon. They are residing in Alpena.
