Joanna Lynn Ludwiczak and David Philip Szejbach exchanged their wedding vows Dec. 1, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena. Rev. Martha Hartman Stuart officiated the 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John Ludwiczak of Alpena and Sylvia (Paul) Milligan of Kalkaska. The groom is the son of Janie Szejbach of Alpena and the late David Szejbach.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Paula Ludwiczak. Bridesmaids were Kristin Gall, sister of the bride; Sarah Hainstock, friend of the bride; and Jacci Gonzales, sister of the groom. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, John Szymanski. Groomsmen were Chad Zann, James Wils and Joshua Vandusen, all friends of the groom. Ushers included Adam Sabourin and Jordan Sabourin, nephews of the bride. Greeters were Keana Gonzales and Alex Gonzales, niece and nephew of the groom. Flower girls were Abby Sabourin, niece of the bride, and Allyana and Amiya Gonzales, nieces of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the bride and groom was held at the APlex in Alpena. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at the Courtyard Restaurant.
Joanna is a 1995 graduate of Alpena High School and is employed with Hospice of Michigan as an registered nurse case manager. David is a 1992 graduate of Alpena High School and is employed in the engineering department at Omni Metalcraft.
David and Joanna will be taking a honeymoon in March to the Dominican Republic and are residing in Alpena.
