Hillman’s McMurray wins 2012 Beat the Geek Contest
In a bowl season that saw some wild finishes and some shockng upsets, Luke McMurray stood out above all the rest.
McMurray of Hillman is the winner of this year’s Beat the Geek contest and was the only entry to correctly pick 18 of the 20 bowl games this year. Hal Butler finished in second place by picking 17 games correctly. JoAnne Bowen picked 16 games correctly and finished in third place by the tiebreaker as she correctly guessed the amount of points that would be scored in the BCS National Title Game-56. Dale Middleditch finished in fourth place after picking 16 games correctly and guessing 58 points for the title game.
